Pros
Pro Auto-fills a lot of information
Automatically logs into websites, enters credit card information, fills registration forms, and easily generates strong passwords. Password generator can be adjusted to use or exclude certain characters and patterns.
Pro Doesn't depend on the cloud
One really nice thing about 1Password is that the passwords are stored in a file rather than being fed into a remote server necessarily (though you can sync via Dropbox or iCloud if you wish)
This gives you a bit more control in how the file is stored, means that there's an additional level of protection in case your storage solution gets compromised, and means that there's no password-service vendor to distrust.
Cons
Con Duplicate removal feature is too picky
Only items with exact identical info is considered a duplicate. If you import, add tag or make any adjustment + saving - the mod date itself acts as separator which could result in many copies of same substans but different date and/or metadata. This has + and - by nature.
Con Confusing/misleading features of "trash" and "archive".
Trash feature is arguably superfluous since the archive feature is the "actual" trash. Furthermore, you can trash multiple items at once but only delete single items from archive. My work around was to create a keyboard maestro macro with mouse clicks in the browser.
Con Lacks native Linux support
No native app is available specifically for Linux making this a poor option for Linux users. Though there is 1Password for Families which offers a web app that can be accessed in any browser, but it does cost at least $5 a month, so not free.
Con Doesn't Encrypt Some Meta Data
The default for most cross platform, AgileKeychain, doesn't encrypted URL or Titles of the page on you saved the password.
